Coster Group is proud to announce the publication of its ninth Sustainability Report, highlighting another year of measurable progress across environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions.
The year 2025 marked another year of tangible progress in the Group’s sustainability journey. The following highlights showcase the most significant achievements across environmental, social and governance dimensions, underscoring Coster Group’s commitment to sustainability and long-term value creation for all stakeholders.
Environmental performance continued to improve across the Group. Key achievements include a 58% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to the 2021 baseline, the confirmation of 100% renewable electricity consumption across all sites for the second consecutive year, a 75% reduction in waste to landfill compared to 2022, and a 17% reduction in water consumption over the same period. During the year, four climate targets were also approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), further strengthening the company’s decarbonisation roadmap. In addition, nearly 500 tonnes of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics were incorporated into Coster’s products, supporting the Group’s commitment to circularity and resource efficiency.
Innovation remained a key pillar of Coster Group’s sustainability strategy. During 2025, the company continued to expand its portfolio of solutions designed to combine product performance with environmental benefits. These developments include mBOV, the first bag-on-valve system on the market featuring an integrated metering mechanism; CosterEco Regulator, developed to extend the use of compressed gas propellants to demanding formulations; Leaf, a full-plastic dispenser pump made entirely of polyolefins; and Squeezer, a full-plastic monomaterial squeeze sprayer.
The report also highlights the Group’s commitment to people development, responsible business practices and social impact. In 2025, Coster delivered more than 35,000 hours of training across the organisation, equivalent to 31 hours per employee, while further strengthening its health and safety culture through structured monitoring and reporting systems. The company also expanded its social responsibility initiatives through the CosterCares programme and conducted SMETA 4-pillar audits across multiple sites and countries.
Coster Group’s Sustainability Report 2025 reflects the company’s belief that sustainability is not only a responsibility, but also a driver of innovation, resilience and long-term value creation.
